Our deli counter has traditional meats cured the traditional way

Our venison is from the local Marks Hall Estate and the surrounding area, and of course we keep up the Blackwell tradition of supplying our award-winning turkeys and geese for the festive markets.

Our vegetables follow the traditional British seasons, all sourced locally, from Tolleshunt D'Arcy, Aldham, Dedham, Manningtree, Stanway and Sible Hedingham along with soft fruit, asparagus, rapeseed oil from Bures, crisps from Wormingford, and honey from our own farm.

Our cheese selection

We do extend the boundaries of our local sourcing to ensure that our customers get the selection that they have asked us for, but we still offer mainly British with a selection of continental flavours.
