Our kitchen

In our kitchen we produce home made jam, preservatives and marmalade, as well as a tremendous selection of spongesm cakes, brownies, pies, quiches, lasagne, mousaka, cottage pies and—we are told—our famous sausage rolls.

Make sure you try Farmer Bill's ice cream, produced by the Hadley family on one of Essex's last family dairy farms at Colne Engaine, less than 3 miles away.

Our locally sourced goats milk, cheese and ice cream has received acclaim for its low fat and excellent digestability.

All our bread is baked on the premises and a selection of traditional speciality breads are always available.
